The audience were treated to a wonderful spectacle of colour, costume, song and dance as the Year 3 girls put on a vibrant assembly explaining the story of Diwali. The girls certainly did justice to this festival of joy and prosperity, and explained the celebration of the victory of good over evil. The staging, bright traditional costumes, dance and music made for a magical show.
