WelcomeWelcome to The Study
The Study is a long established, independent preparatory school for girls aged four to eleven, situated on the borders of leafy Wimbledon Common.
The School has a strong reputation as a specialist in educating young girls and preparing them for some of the best secondary schools in the country. As such, we attract pupils not just from the local Wimbledon area but more broadly across South West London and Surrey, including Wandsworth, Putney, Kingston, Barnes and Roehampton.
We hope you will take this opportunity to browse our website which describes both our academic and pastoral approaches. As far as any website can, it also aims to give you some flavour of the very special community that the girls and their teachers create together.
COME AND VISIT US!
We look forward to welcoming current and prospective parents to one of the highlights of our school year: our Open Morning on Saturday 3 March. For prospective parents who would like to view the school and meet the staff on a 'quieter' occasion, please ask for details about our Wilberforce House Open Evening on Thursday 8 March.
Friendship Day at Wilberforce House: Friday 20th January was a special day at Wilberforce House. We spent the day thinking about the importance of friends and how we can be a good friend to everyone.

The Teddy Bear Hospital Comes to The Study: Reception learnt all about what happens in hospitals when the Teddy Bear Hospital visited The Study.

Success for Study Mathematicians
Last term we were delighted by the large number of Study girls in Years 5 and 6 who did extremely well in the national Primary Maths Challenge. The final takes place on 1st February, where out of the 86,500 children who entered, only 1026 have been invited to take part. We are thrilled to announce that two Study girls are among the finalists! Well done on doing so well and we all wish them the best of luck at the final.
