Reception Entry

September 2021 entry

The ballot for Reception 2021 took place in May 2020 but it is still possible to register for our waiting list as places may become available.

**September 2022 entry**

During these uncertain times, we have decided to adjust our admissions process for Reception 2022 entry, in order to offer our prospective families a little bit of certainty.

We are pleased to guarantee an offer of a place to any family that registers by the original ballot deadline, which is the 30th April 2021.

Families to whom we make an offer of a place to in May can secure their place by paying a deposit. Or, if they wish, they can ask that their registration be entered into the ballot, which will now be held in early December 2021. Registrations for the ballot will therefore remain open until the 30th November 2021.

We hope that this will reassure those families who have long committed to The Study, as well as allowing others who have not yet had the opportunity to visit us to do so once guidance allows.

Our main point of entry is Reception for girls aged 4+.

We are proud to be non-selective at Reception and places are offered on the basis of a ballot, which takes place in the May, 18 months prior to the September of entry.

To register, you will need to complete and return a registration form, along with a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate, and arrange to pay £100 registration fee by bank transfer.  Please see below for a copy of the form and our bank details.

We welcome registrations any time up until the end of April of the ballot year.  Anyone registering after the ballot has taken place will be added to a waiting list.

Sisters of current pupils are guaranteed a place, but we ask for a separate registration form for each child.

Offers will be made immediately after the ballot.  If we are unable to offer your daughter a definite place at this stage, she will be placed on our waiting list and then offered a definite place should anyone be unable to take up their offer.

If your daughter is made an offer, we will ask you to pay a deposit of a half term's fees by the deadline stated in the offer letter.  The deposit will be refunded to you when your daughter leaves The Study; however, please note that this deposit is non-refundable should your daughter not join the School.
