National U11 ISA Netball Champs!

Year 6A Team Clinches Top Honour

The Year 6A netball team travelled to York over the weekend to compete in the ISA National Netball Finals.  It was a fantastic time for the girls who had worked so hard for the prestige of playing in the finals.  The girls showed amazing stamina, commitment and teamwork, and clinched Gold at Queen Ethelburga’s School in York.  The ISA commented:  “A huge well done to everyone for reaching the ISA Junior Netball Finals on Saturday. All teams should be immensely proud of their achievements; we thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone play with such sportsmanship, hard-work and passion.”  The scores were as follows:

Study vs The Grange- 10-5

Study vs Knightsbridge-19-0

Study vs Shoreham- 23-0

Study vs St Margarets- 8-5

Top of our group and through to the Cup competition (top 4 teams)

Well done to The Study Prep team and the dedicated PE teachers, Ms Dalgleish, Mrs Marchant and Ms Evans who have worked tirelessly with the girls to hone their skills and build their confidence.  We thank the parents who attended for their support and encouragement, it was a wonderful end to the season.
