This term Year 3 are exploring aspects of Hinduism in their RE lessons.

Dance is a form of worship so the girls enjoyed a Hindu dance workshop with Miss Yasmin, our dance teacher. At the end of the session, each class showed their dance performances to each other.

Bharatanatyam is often used to express Hindu religious stories and devotions. The dance movements are characterised by bent legs, while feet keep rhythm.
