Teaching CreativelyThe Study's reputation as a 'creative' school derives as much from the way we teach academic subjects, as from our emphasis on music and the arts.
We are always striving for creativity in the classroom; new ways of engaging and absorbing the girls in their studies and bringing subjects to life.
Through a regular programme of cross-curricular projects, we teach the girls to explore a theme from a number of different subject standpoints.
Virtually every week there is some special activity, with visitors coming into school to present material in different ways, or out of school activities such as cultural visits, field trips and workshops to support the academic programme.
Older girls eagerly anticipate the residential field trips covering environmental science, geography, history and art.
