Fourth Plinth Hat-trick for The Study

We are thrilled to announce that our very own talented artist, Natalie H-T, Year 5, has been chosen as the winner for the Borough of Merton in the Mayor of London’s Fourth plinth Schools’ Award 2014!  Natalie’s wonderful sculpture, entitled “Boris the Budgie”, crafted from wire and painted papier mache, wowed the panel of judges, who this year includes Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller.

This is the third year running that an artist from The Study has won for the Borough, an amazing achievement and one which illustrates and celebrates the creative spirit of the school!  Many congratulations to Natalie, who will travel to City Hall in London to attend the official awards ceremony with her family in May.
