Travel and The Environment
The Study takes its responsibility to be as environmentally aware as possible very seriously. One of the ways in which we promote green issues is in our School Travel Plan. We strongly encourage that, where possible, girls walk, cycle or scooter into school, and we have a car share register in place for those who live further afield. We support Merton Council’s Walk to School programme and in particular its Walk Once a Week initiative.
For those families that have to drive to and from school, there is an unofficial one way system in place at Camp Road to help ease congestion, and staggered drop off and pick up times. The Study has two shuttle buses that are used to transport the girls from one House to the other, and to take them to external sports facilities, theatres and other local sites when needed.
