Susan Pepper, MA (Oxon), PGCE, NPQHHeadmistressMrs Pepper has been Headmistress since January 2011, joining The Study from Francis Holland School, where she was Deputy Headmistress for eleven years. Mrs Pepper is a long standing Wimbledon resident and was educated at Godolphin & Latymer, going on to read History at Somerville College, Oxford before taking her PGCE and National Professional Qualification for Headship at the London Institute. Mrs Pepper not only leads the strategic direction of the school but also teaches, and runs the very popular Pony and Debating clubs! Mrs Pepper is married with a 19 year old son and enjoys horse riding, dressage and trec, keeping ex battery hens, gardening, reading and completing cryptic crosswords in her leisure time. |

Joanna Gay, BA (Hons), PGCEDeputy HeadmistressMiss Gay has been at The Study for nine years where in addition to her role as Deputy Headmistress she also teaches, runs clubs, chairs the Spencer School Council, and is responsible for pastoral care, timetabling and the school’s charity giving. At present she oversees the school‘s Gifted and Talented provision and is RE Coordinator. Miss Gay is a team inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate. She read Economic and Social History at Exeter University and worked in the publishing industry before doing her Postgraduate Certificate in Education. She loves reading, the theatre, playing tennis, walking and travelling to interesting holiday destinations. She also enjoys spending time with her nephews and numerous god children! |

Hilary HunterBursarHilary joined The Study in September 2012 from Longacre Preparatory School in Shamley Green where she was Bursar for nine years. A graduate of Durham University, Hilary previously worked in investment management for a major city pension fund, and in local government. Hilary is married with two grown up sons, and in her spare time enjoys classical music, swimming, cooking, and gardening. When time permits, Hilary also enjoys travelling - including visiting family in New Zealand.

Sarah Lee, BA, PGCESenior Mistress, Wilberforce HouseMrs Lee is responsible for Wilberforce House as its Senior Mistress and has been a form teacher at The Study for 22 years, currently teaching Year 1. Mrs Lee is married with two young sons and enjoys travelling to discover new places, taking walking trips with her boys and going on city breaks. Most of her leisure time is taken up spending time with her husband and sons and their pet rabbit, Jimmy. |

Georgina Willey, ARCM, Dip NCOS, PGCESenior Mistress, Spencer HouseMrs Willey has been with The Study for 6 years and is responsible for Spencer House as its Senior Mistress, as well as being a Year 5 form teacher and the Spencer House Maths Coordinator. Before Mrs Willey retrained as a class teacher at Froebel College, University of Surrey, Roehampton, she spent many years as a professional violinist, playing first violin with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle. As well as recording CDs with the CBSO, she frequently appeared on TV and radio and at major concert halls all over the world. Mrs Willey is married with three teenage sons, and has three cats and two tortoises. She loves to relax at home by listening to music, reading, gardening, DIY and cooking. |

Penelope Morton, Cert Ed (Roehampton)Director of StudiesMrs Morton joined The Study 22 years ago as a form teacher, where her role has developed to include Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Studies for the school. Mrs Morton currently teaches Year 3, in addition to overseeing the curriculum provision across all the year groups. Mrs Morton received her Diploma in Education from the Roehampton Insititute and has lived in Wimbledon for over 30 years. Her three grown up children include two boys, Oliver and Jeremy, and her daughter, Camilla. In her leisure time, Mrs Morton enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible, loves reading and regularly visits museums and art galleries in order to indulge her passion for art, literature and poetry. |
