Creative ArtsThe creative arts are a very important part of the curriculum, throughout the school: we see them as a vital means of encouraging individual self-expression. We provide specialist teachers in all creative areas.
Some form of creative activity is an integral part of each day in the Pre-prep Department. Girls in the Prep Department receive expert tuition from a specialist art teacher and are consistently successful in a variety of art competitions.
Drama is taught throughout the school and the girls regularly perform for their parents and each other. There are also opportunities for girls to study for speech and drama examinations.
A wide range of lunchtime and after school clubs encourages our Prep Department girls to explore their own talents. These vary from term to term but typically include chess, debating, Spanish, computing, country dancing, fabric printing and touch typing, as well as music, drama and sport.
